Sasol hands over netball kit to Sedibeng Netball Club

The Sedibeng Netball Club is an affiliate of Netball South Africa, and the club also uses its social platform to speak out against substance abuse.

SEDIBENG.-  As part of Sasol’s commitment to driving ‘Change Through Sport’, Sasol handed over a netball kit to the Sedibeng Netball Club, from Sebokeng last week.

The club plays a crucial role in encouraging youth from deprived areas to participate in sports. In a ceremony held in Secunda, Sasol presented the club with five full kits for male and female squads and 100 sports bags.

The contribution comes as South Africa prepares to host the Netball World Cup 2023 which will take place in Cape Town from 28 July to 6 August 2023.

Earlier this month Sasol played a significant role in bringing the coveted netball World Cup Trophy Tour to Secunda, as part of public garnering support for the sport.

Fakazile Nkitseng, Chairperson of Sedibeng Netball Club applauded Sasol for the contribution which she said would go a long way in affirming the sport.
