EVATON. – The police in Evaton have launched a double murder and house robbery investigation after a man and woman were shot and killed. The two bodies were discovered by a neighbor on Tuesday morning, 20 June.
Police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi says: “The complainant was on her way to work when she saw a shack opened, on further investigation, she discovered the two bodies of a man and a woman lying on the floor with gunshot wounds.”
Nevhuhulwi states that bank cards, shoes, cellphones, a TV, and a blanket were seized.
“Circumstances surrounding this incident are unknown at this stage and police are investigating. No suspects arrested at this stage,” she adds.
