SEDIBENG.- Four Emfuleni Local Football Association’s (ELFA) Super League teams are set to battle it out in the Champ of Champs Play-offs at Qedilizwe on Saturday and Sunday.
The four teams are the winners from the following streams, Vanderbijlpark, Boitshepiville, Sebokeng, and Evaton. This was revealed to Sedibeng Ster Sport by the ELFA League Administrator, Teboho Mphaga.
The four teams that will be battling for this Champ Of Champ which will decide the two teams that will represent Emfuleni at the Safa Sedibeng Promotional Play-offs are, Vaal Ideas FC, Town Stars FC, Vaal Inter FC, and Celta Vigo Development FC.
Celta Vigo Dev FC are the winners of Evaton Stream while Vaal Inter FC were crowned the Sebokeng Stream Champions. Town Stars FC and Vaal Ideas FC are the winners of Boitshepiville and Vanderbilpark Streams respectively. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Mphaga said the four above-mentioned teams will battle for Champ Of Champ to decide which two teams will represent Emfuleni at the Regional Promotional Play-offs.
The two teams will battle against the winners from Midvaal Local Football Association and Lesedi Local Football Association for Safa Sedibeng Promotional Play-offs. The two teams that will win in the Play-offs will be promoted to Safa Sedibeng Regional Men’s League.
“I’m happy because we didn’t experience serious challenges regarding protests. We had a great season and I want to thank the teams for making our job easy throughout the season. We wish those teams all the best that will be competing in the Champ of Champs Play-offs,” she concluded.
