The atmosphere was electric, brimming with anticipation and a profound sense of pride as students, faculty, and esteemed guests came together to witness this momentous event.
Prof Linda du Plessis, Deputy Vice-Chancellor: Assigned Functions & Campus Operations, said the name Tsebonokeng is fitting for this new addition to the campus.
“Students played an important role in naming the hall – about 545 names were proposed. Among the proposed names, a student, Clinton Mabunda came up with the winning name, Tsebonokeng,” she said.
