Woman’s lifeless body discovered in bathtub

The police in Orange Farm have asked for the community to come forward with information following the discovery of a lifeless body of a woman in a bathtub. The incident happened in Driezik Extension 4 on Wednesday evening.

ORANGE FARM. – The police in Orange Farm have launched a murder case docket following the discovery of a lifeless body of a 37-year-old woman in Drieziek Extension 4.

Spokesperson Sergeant Shaan Motsapi says, “Police were called to a murder scene on Wednesday evening around 22:00. On arrival, a lifeless body of a female aged 37-years-old was found lying in a bathtub, with bruises on the face.

“No arrest has been made and the motive of the murder is unknown,” he said.

Police now plead with members of the community to come forward with information that will help apprehend the suspect/s who killed the victim.

Members of the community can call 011 213 8023/26, give an anonymous tip-off on 08600 10111 or make use of the MYSAPS APP. Alternatively, those with information can call Sergeant Shaan Motsapi at 082 782 1373.
