Bishop Sekete lash-out ‘carnal-minded people’ over bible present

Popular Television Pastor, Bishop Moratehi Sekete lashed "carnal minded people" over his decision to buy his son a bible as a birthday present.

SEDIBENG – On a Good Friday, April 7, one of Bishop Moratehi Sekete’s sons was celebrating his 18th birthday. The prominent man of God decided to shower him with a Bible as a present.

On the day, Sekete posted his gifting moment on his social platforms, accompanied by images of him and Karabo (the birthday boy) sharing a light moment. What transpired after that, is nothing short of drama as the Television and celebrity pastor lashed on his socials to defend his actions.

In a Facebook post uploaded a day before the resurrection of Jesus, Sekete updated a smashing status claiming the “Bible” is not his only gift. He further went on to explain how he treats his sons ‘soft’.

“Let me help the carnal-minded people, the Bible is not the only thing I bought for my son, it’s the best thing I decided to publicize because it has Spiritual meaning. If you only knew how I treat my children, you will be embarrassed!”  read the status.

Many social media users, took turns to support the Pastor, with many claiming “he needed not, to explain his actions”.

King Lekoko: Bishop you shouldn’t have even dignified them with details

Consolation Immanuel Sakoane: Bishop, I love the fact that you are teaching and showing your son the ways of the Lord and you want him to pursue them. In this generation, if we don’t show our kids what to read and pursue the enemy will bring things that will destroy their minds. You are such a blessing to our generation Sir.

Tshepo Patrick Ramabodu: No need to explain yourself, Bishop

The Bible is the best gift.

Mary Mashego: Moruti, some people allow the devil to use them even where it’s not necessary, don’t mind them because to some of us you are a great motivator. That present is something so precious to our God the living word.
