SEDIBENG.- Expect the mother of all battles when Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns meet in another DStv Premiership showdown at Orlando Stadium on Saturday.
The kick-off time is 15:30.
Sundowns who are at the summit of the DStv Premiership log standings come into this encounter as red-hot favorites to claim to brag. They are the team of the moment which has been impressive since last year and they are the only team still to taste defeat in 2023.
However, Orlando Pirates will be out to avenge the defeat they suffered at the hands of Sundowns at the beginning of the year. It is payback time for the fallen Mighty Buccaneers to redeem themselves in South African football. They will be home and they will throw everything to Sundowns in an attempt to close up the gap at the top.
Rulani Mokwena told the media personnel that he is worried about the Pirates team but he said that they will come to Orlando Stadium well prepared.
“We all know what to expect from Pirates especially playing at their home ground but we will be well prepared. There is no doubt that we are up against a team that likes to play from the back to midfield,” said Mokwena.
