Teixeira calls for calm from Matrics
The Basic Education Department said that candidates may fetch their statements from the school or exam center where they wrote on Friday.
SEDIBENG.- Midvaal Local Municipality (MLM) Executive Mayor, Peter Teixeira has called for calm from the Matric class of 2022. The call comes ahead of the release of the class of 2022 results this evening, January 19.
Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga is set to announce the results of the National Senior Certificate for the Class of 2022 live on SABC platforms at 6:00. Tomorrow, Friday, 20 January candidates who wrote the National Senior Certificate (NSC) exams for 2022 will receive their results.
Meanwhile Teixeira said: “Thinking back to my matric year and how anxious I was just before the results came out. To all matrics, keep calm, keep the faith, and never give up on yourself no matter what comes your way.”
Partial results may also be accessed on the DBE’s website from 7:00m on Friday, 20 January. No registration is necessary, all that is needed is the candidate’s exam number.
