Former Super Sport United man runs for Presidency

"I grew up up in football as a player and now I am an administrator."

SEDIBENG.- Former SuperSport United hard man, Peter “Fire” Khoabane has come out in public and announced his intentions to run for the Sedibeng Masters Football Association presidency.

Khoabane who has been involved with the masters  football for years now as a Public Relation Officer.
He made this surprise revelation when he shared his voice recording announcing to the masters teams his intentions to take the hot seat as the president. Khoabane said that he is the right man to lead this organisation. He has served at the South African Players Union Football Association as a PRO for six years and as a player he was one of the SuperSport United’s committee members.


Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Khoabane said that he is ready to lead the troubled association. He further said there is so much that needs to be changed in the organisation and that he believes there is a serious need to ease financial burden from the teams.

“I have been serving masters football for a long time now since the days of Martin Chakane. I think I qualify to become the President because I meet all the requirements. I’m ready to serve and as a former football player I understand all the dynamics of football,” he said.

For now Sedibeng Ster Sport is aware of only Khoabane who have raised his hand to lead from the front.
