A woman caught in a love triangle is behind bars after stabbing baby daddy to death at boyfriend’s place

A Sharpeville man was stabbed multiple times on his upper and lower body and succumbed to the wounds in Orange Farm on Thursday.

ORANGE FARM – This is after his killer, also known to be his girlfriend and baby mama, claimed she stabbed him because he forced to sleep with her.

The dramatic scenes played out at the suspect’s boyfriend shack in extension seven B.

Neighbours told the paper how they heard dogs barking around 01:00 a.m. and never paid attention.

The following morning when they woke up, the woman confessed to one of the neighbours how she stabbed her baby daddy and slept with the body for more than nine hours.

When the Ster team arrived on the scene, the woman was already apprehended by local police.

Inside her boyfriend’s shack, lied her baby daddy in a pool of blood, covered in a blanket.

Scores of bystanders looked on as medics declared and cops investigated the scene.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, a neighbour said “I heard my dogs barking because there was loud noise coming from that shack. I didn’t really pay attention because people in our township always roam around in the wee hours drunk, little did I know the dogs were barking a man who was screaming to save his life”.

Another resident said she doesn’t know the deceased man.

“We know the boyfriend of this woman who is not around at this moment as he works in Pretoria. We are shocked to wake up to such news especially a different man. We all knew this lady by her partner,” she said.

Police spokeswoman Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela said a murder case was opened.

“Police are investigating a case of murder. Suspect was arrested and detained at Orange Farms SAPS holding cells and will appear before the Vereeniging Magistrate court soon,” she said.
