EVATON.- Thesupporters painted the place black and white while chanting Orlando Pirates slogans to celebrate their achievement at the club’s branches from different areas. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Evaton Central Branch PRO, Mothetho Nkatlo hailed this mass meeting as a great success.
Nkatlo said his branch was the host of this mass meeting which was started with a march from Diphoko to Mabusumaneng in support of 16 Days Of Activist’s Gender Based Violence Against Women and Children campaign. Nkatlo told Sedibeng Ster Sport that this mass meeting was also held to close the year with all the Sedibeng South branches giving their report or feedback from the beginning of the year.
“All the Sedibeng South branches gathered here today to close the year in style with all the branches giving their feedback from throughout the year. I must say it was a fruitful meeting with everyone leaving the meeting happy. We celebrated our hard work especially the club’s success this year and we are looking forward to the new season,” he said.
Nkatlo also told Sedibeng Ster Sport that as Orlando Pirates supporters they were happy with the club’s performance this year including the MTN8 Cup victory against Amazulu. He also applauded Sedibeng South supporters for coming to the stadium in big numbers.
