Christmas before christmas leaves Vaal ladies hungover

The Sedibeng region is considered to be a country on its own by those living outside it.

SEDIBENG – And this is constantly proven by one man praised as the official President of the Vaal.

From creating Vaal’s own Italian mimic flag, the Setsjwatla Malapa national anthem, to now officially launching the month of November as a festive season better yet, December klaar.

This was done through Mshepepe’s Mogodu Monday Birthday Finale termed Christmas before Christmas held at Sharpeville’s very popular nightlife spot situated on the famous Kgomotso Road, Rhythm Lounge.

Attended by hundreds of female patrons from all walks of life, young or old, mostly dressed in their stylish brands, those who graced the second instalment of the event surely couldn’t wake up as they are left hung in Babalaz (hangover) from free beer.

Even the president himself, couldn’t be reached for a follow up interview from the one done the previous night.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster on the night of the event, Mshepepe (WaseVaal) Kambule said he just want to see his nation happy.

“I celebrated my birthday last month and as a present to myself, all I want to do is to see my people swimming in happiness. We are going through the most as people, one way to escape the horrors of our lives is to have nothing but a crazy young night,” he said.

Asked about the budget he spent on the first and the second instalment of the Mogodu Monday, Shepi said he spent thousands which he couldn’t disclose.

“I can’t disclose how much money I really spent on these events, but all you need to know is that, tons of thousands were spent just to organize it. From hiring popular disc jockeys, the bottles I blessed friends and the community, it’s quiet a lot,” he said.

Social media was abuzz which praise commentary, many of Facebookers and tweeps sharing videos and images from the wild event.

Prominent Djs such Kelvin Momo, Zulu Tariana and many more couldn’t miss the event for anything.
