Viral ka**r video victim speaks!

For the first time ever, Mpho Mbhele, the man who was caught on camera being dragged and called the K word in Midvaal has spoken out.

BEVERLY HILLS – The 38-year-old said the viral racial incident has dented his life and that of his children.

This is after multiple videos showing Mbhele being dragged by a white man from the restaurant he works in to the streets went viral on social media.

According to the dehumanized Mbhele, he bought shades and always hide from public who point him all the time following his shaming video.

“The incident broke my confidence, I don’t know how will I go back to the community without feeling ashamed,” he said.

Telling his story before his incident, the father of two said he decided to help the man, just so he can leave without problems, little did he know he was going to trend.

“The man ordered beer and after having his drinks, he started assaulting the manager. When I tried to stop him, that’s when he chased me inside the restaurant. He kept saying I was come to my ‘God’, referring to himself,” said Mbhele.

When the cat and mice chasing between Mbhele and his offender, the man tripped and fell on the ground.

“The man held me by my feet and dragged me to the street. I tried to scream for help, no one helped me, all the people did, was to take videos,” he added.

Mbhele said he is dented by the incident and hope justice will be served.

Sources close to the matter said the perpetrator is a regular patron at the pub, who always uses racial slur on black people.

“On Sunday, the same man came to the restaurant and demanded to be served by a fellow white person. He called used a racial slur on workers of the pub. He is used to doing what he did to Mbhele,” said one source.

In a statement Economic Freedom Fighter Sedibeng Regional Chairperson Isaac Khithika said the party accompanied Mbhele to open a case.

“We view the actions of this unrepentant racist as uncalled for, and condemn them in the strongest possible terms. No one in the new democratic dispensation has the right to behave in that manner,” said Isaac.

African National Congress Chairperson in Midvaal Mpumelelo Mtimkulu said “as the ANC in Midvaal, we would like to register the fact that we will be discharging all resources available at our disposal in ensuring that is brought to book. And also, that similar incidents are not repeated by mobilizing communities, business and government in eradicating the racism that is so rife in the Midvaal area,” he said.

Sedibeng District Police spokesperson Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela said a case of common assault was opened.
