Okae Molao hits Sebokeng Streets

Gauteng’s Okae Molao operation swept the streets of Sebokeng last week Thursday.

SEBOKENG – About 30 suspects were arrested various crimes during the operation. Arrested suspects were charged with crimes including possession of unlicensed firearm, driving while under the influence of alcohol, possession of drugs and undocumented foreign nationals.
Several law enforcement agencies graced the operation.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Sedibeng District police spokeswoman Sergeant Thembeka Maxambela said “About 253 vehicles were searched during the road blocks in Frikkie Meyer Boulevard. That resulted in recovering of unlicensed firearm with 5 live ammunition and magazine.
Traffic fines to the value of R6800.00 were issued, while several liquor outlets that operate without proper documentations were closed down and liquor to the value of R1000 .00 was confiscated” she said.
Maxambela said two high schools were visited for school search were police recovered dagga and cough mixture was found.
