SAB League to kick-off

The troublesome Safa Sedibeng SAB League 2022/2023 season is set to kick off at the weekend.

SEDIBENG.- The league is divided into two streams, A and B which consist with fourteen teams in each stream.

To make it interesting, VUT FC and NWU Vaal FC avoided each other with NWU Vaal being in in Stream A and VUT FC Stream B. However, having said this, Stream B seems to be stream of death with the likes of Perfect Academy, RESA, Juventus, Vaal Milano, Ghetto Seven and Sebokeng Mighty Blues. It is going to be interesting who will be crowned the champions in this stream looking at these teams.

For example, last season Juventus, Perfect Academy and Vaal Milano FC gave VUT FC a run of their money. The same can be said about Stream A with the likes of Boipatong FC, NWU Vaal, Real Barcelona FC, Mmabatho and Real Hearts FC . It is game on in Stream B, and it is difficult to predict who will be crowned the champions in this stream. This season there is too much to play for taking into consideration that last season the league was declared ‘null and void’ by an Arbitratorion after the league failed to apply SAFA uniform rules of ‘No card, No Play’.

This incident put Safa Sedibeng Region on national spotlight but for wrong reason with some officials having to step aside for while investigations took place. However, they have since gone back and are hard at work to prepare for the kick-off of the Safa Sedibeng SAB League season.

The question to be asked is, will be this a free trouble season taking tin consideration what happened last season?
