SEDIBENG.- This former Jomo Cosmos star player has had a great coaching career and is one of the best coaches in Africa.
Mosimane, who recently joined Al-Ahli Jedda registered his first win for the club recently, and this former Al Ahly mentor is one of the African coaches who is in demand. He was recently honoured by former Gauteng Premier, David Makhura at the Social Cohesion Gala Dinner for his contribution and achievement not only in South Africa football but also in African football.
Mosimane’s success has inspired many South African coaches especially the up and coming coaches. His visit to Sedibeng two month ago was a historical moment for both development coaches and players and his appointment to Al-Ahli Jedda has once proved his greatness in African football. Mosimane, who had a colourful football career with Mamelodi Sundowns started his professional football career with the now relegated Jomo Cosmos. Apart from coaching, he had also a successful playing career and even went to play overseas. His coaching career started at SuperSport United as an assistant coach before being tasked with a responsibility tobecome a head coach, and as they say the rest is history.
