ANCYL Sedibeng helps matrics register for NSFAS

The programme started on Monday and will end next Friday, 21 October.

SEDIBENG.- The African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) Sedibeng has embarked on a programme to help young people register for the National Student Financial Aid Scheme NSFAS this week.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, ANCYL Sedibeng Spokesperson, Lunga Fuzane said that the aim of the programme is  ensure that young people register with NSFAS so that they can further their studies, thus achieve their dreams.

The programme covers all of Sedibeng, reaching as far as Ratanda in Heidelberg, and some of the school that have been covered include Rutasetjhaba Secondary School, Qedilizwe Secondary School,Esokwazi High School, Mashabane High School, Thandu-Kwazi High School and Tokelo High School to metion a few.

” We know that some kids come from disadvantage families so the programme is here to ensure that every child should have access to NSFAS and other bursaries,” he said, adding that they are not only helping  grade 12 learners but that they are also assisting even those who have been idling at home.

” We have our brothers and sisters who are sitting at home (doing nothing), and are willing to go back to school. They are more than welcome to come over so that they can also be assisted.”
