Meyerton SAPS bids farewell to Captain Majwe after 36 years

Captain Mohlakala Majwe has retired after serving in the South African Police Service (SAPS) for 36 years. 

MEYERTON. – Police spokesperson Constable Tlaleng Moloi says, “A very special retirement celebration was held on Friday to honour Captain Majwe as he hung up his boots.

“This retirement is special as the time has come for Captain Majwe to experience a fulfilling life derived from rewarding activities after spending most of his life serving and protecting with passion, dedication and commitment,” Moloi said.

Meyerton SAPS station commander Colonel Victor Lepitla thanked Captain Majwe for his commitment and loyalty.

“You were equal to any task given to you and will be remembered as the best Relief Commander.

“We wish you a happy and fulfilling retirement. As you embark on this new chapter in your life, the Meyerton SAPS wishes you the best of luck and unlimited hours of leisure,” Lepitla concludes.
