Ex-wife involved in murder and suicide
The Evaton police are investigating two cases in one, murder and suicide, that took place in Evaton over the weekend.
EVATON.- It is said that on Saturday at about 17:40 a woman arrived home from work and on her arrival at her home she tried to open the door and the key couldn’t go through. She then opened the window so that she can put her hand inside to open the door, and that is when saw her husband hanging on the roof and another body was on the floor.
The woman then called neighbours and they opened the door.
“Her partner was hanging and his ex-wife was lying down, she had a cellphone cord on her neck and it is suspected that it was used to strangle her,” Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Nombulelo Mohlakoana said adding that the ex-wife was said to have always been bothering the couple and that they had a protection order against her.
Investigations are underway.
