SEBOKENG.- Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Malefu ‘Cheese’ Molaodi, who was one of the people who were instrumental in organising this event, said it was a day well spent. She told Sedibeng Ster Sport that they gathered women, young and old in the area to take part in this event to celebrate Women’s Day.
Some of the community leaders who formed part of organising this event were Shakes Setumonyane, Tshepo Mollo and thy were sponsored by Nwaza Mollo.
“As we women in the community we want to thank those who made an effort to organise this event in celebrating Women’s Day. This shows how much they care for their community especially women because we all know that recently it is not easy for women to walk alone in the streets. We as women from Sebokeng Hostel want to thank you from bottom of our hearts. We wish to make this event an annual event and next year it will be bigger and better,” she said.
