Zothwane joins Polokwane City

Polokwane City have appointed Bophelong born  Papi Zothwane as their Head Coach for the upcoming  Motsepe Foundation Championships League.

BOPHELONG.- This was after Uthongathi FC announced that they have parted ways with Zothwane.

This former Golden Arrows and Mamelodi Sundowns star made a name for himself as a coach with Uthongathi FC which saw them playing mouth-watering football last season.  At one stage Uthongathi looked set to challenge for the GladAfrica Championships playing an exciting brand of football under Zothwane.

Zothwane started his amateur football career with the now defunct Boipatong Real Rangers playing alongside the likes of Solomon Mathe, Senzo Mbatha, Lungisane Ndlela and Morena Mamatela to mention but few. He was part of the Rangers team that made history when they reached the last 16 of Bob Save SuperBowl Cup in 2001.  He then went on to establish himself as one of the most exciting talents in South African football playing for Golden Arrows before he joined Mamelodi Sundowns. Zothwane is expected to turn Polokwane City into a force to be reckoned with in the Motsepe Foundation Championships in the new season, just like he did with Uthongathi.
