Community members fed up living in hazardous environment

The community members of Bophelong have said that they can't take it any longer living under hazardous conditions.

BOPHELONG.-  Phomolo Mosia is a mother with an RDP house in Muvhango, Extension 5.

The house is about 12 meters away from the main road commonly known as ‘Paving’. Mosia said that it has been three months now since they reported the illegal dumping site to the ward councillor and nothing has been done thus far. She also told Sedibeng Ster that some of the residents travel from sections far away from her house, only to dump rubbish a few meters away from her door step.

She adds that when she approached the ward councillor she was told that the affected residents need to donate money and get private companies to clean the area.

At the time of going to print the ward councillor could not be reached.
