DE DEUR. A suspect is behind bars after he was found in posession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition on Tuesday.
This is after the police crime prevention members stopped and search his white Toyota Etios. Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Gertrude Makhale said the members asked for the firearm licence and police realised that the firearm’s serial number was filed off. The suspect alleged that he bought the firearm from someone for R3 500.
