Sedibeng ANCYL demands changes at ELM
The young people said they want to 'reclaim their places'.
VANDERBIJLPARK.- The ANC Youth League (ANCYL) marched to the Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) offices on Friday.
The march started at the Vanderbijlpark Licence department and ended at the ELM main building.
The ANCYL said that they were aware that the workers and the ‘elderly’ leaders at the municipality were in a comfort zone and demanded that they do away with corruption and investigate all suspected corrupt officials, they also warned them that, ” their days are mumbered”. Their memorandum of demands was received outside the main gate by ELM MMC for Safety, Ndade Mokoena.
The young people said that their ‘elderly’ leaders are killing the ANC.
” We are coming for you very soon. The time for young people to lead is now and we are more vibrant.”
