Vanderbijlpark CPF receive new offices

“Ours is to relieve some of the task at the CSC. Let us be a nation that applauds the good services,” added Ndindwa.

VANDERBIJLPARK.- The Station Commander of Vanderbijlpark Police Station, Brigadier Nikiwe Hoaeane together with the Chairperson of the Community Policing Forum (CPF), David Ndindwa, have officially opened a new office for the CPF that will serve the entire sectors, including residents living in the rural areas.

Before cutting the ribbon to the new office Hoaeane expressed her excitement that there’s light at the end of the tunnel.
She said the purpose of the office situated behind the Clients Service Center (CSC), is for the community to have access to both the CPF and the police station. Hoaeane said although there are offices in sector 1 and 5, there is a need for the main office.

“It will make a task of everyone easy in terms of reporting or looking for any assistance. There are issues that might need CPF regarding the police officers at the station level. Also concerns or suggestions needs to be given attention too. This office is not only to complain, but also to applaud the SAPS if they render good services.”

Hoeane said that the CPF are the vanguard of the police.

“Let’s give credit where credit is due. The Forum started with a low number of the members, but thanks today to see that everytime there is improvement. I offer myself to donate with a heater and carpets to keep the office warm during this winter. Ndindwa assured the community that this office will render a five star service. “As a team we will make sure that no members of the community will leave here with bowed heads. It hurts to hear the community complaining of poor services. People must not take advantage to abuse the office. The CPF is not replacing the duty of the SAPS at the CSC,” explained Ndindwa.

“Ours is to relieve some of the task at the CSC. Let us be a nation that applauds the good services,” added Ndindwa.

The CPF office will operate during the week from 08:00am until 18:00. The Chairperson said he would engage with Hoaeane to assist with transport for the volunteers. The offices will also assist the community to check their files, municipality accounts and the police vacancies application forms.
