VEREENIGING. – According to ER24, the incident happened on Voortrekker Road in Vereeniging.
ER24 says, “Our paramedics together with other services arrived to find the three vehicles parked in one lane.
“The taxi driver was trapped in his vehicle while several other patients were walking around.”
Rescue Services used the jaws-of-life equipment to free the driver from the taxi.
“Paramedics assessed the patients and found that seven adults had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
“Patients were treated and transported to nearby hospitals for further care.”
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
