Two suspects nabbed for hijacking
The suspected hijacked vehicle was travelling on the R54 towards Vanderbjllpark.
VANDERBIJLPARK. Two suspects aged between 38 and 44 were arrested for possession of a hijacked vehicle recently
It is said that the Vanderbijlpark Police Tasked Team members received information from Tracker South Africa about a hijacked Kia k2700dy. The vehicle was hijacked in the Sebokeng police area. Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Gertrude Makhale said that the suspected hijacked vehicle was travelling on the R54 towards Vanderbjllpark.
” The members search and found the car with suspects next to the road. At the time Police approached them, suspects fled.
One suspect fled before police gave chase. The K9 Unit was summoned to assist in searching the open field/farmand the suspects were arrested.”
Makhale said that a firearm/toy gun was seized and the vehicle was recovered.
