Celta Vigo Dev FC receives equipment from Baithumi Trading

It was jubilation all over with the Zone 3 community, young and old coming to witness this handover

SEBOKENG.- While other companies and businesses invest in tournaments, Baithumi Trading rolled their sleeves in invested in the development of structured football when they donated soccer equipment to Celta Vigo Development FC recently.

This historical handover took place at Zone 3 Stadium which happens to be a home of Celta Vigo Dev FC. It was jubilation all over with the Zone 3 community, young and old coming to witness this handover to this productive amateur football team in their community.

The club is one of the most productive clubs in Sedibeng when it comes to the development of players not only in this region but in the South African football. Some of the players Celta Vigo FC has produced recently are Sabelo “Bibo” Radebe and Boitumelo Radiopana who were promoted to PSL at the beginning of the season by Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates respectively. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Baithumi Trading Director, Page Segalo said this is part of the company to plough back to its community who support their businesses. He said that they been following the good work that Celta Vigo Development FC is doing in the community of Zone 3.

“This is our responsibility to plough back to the people who support our business and at the same time to help community members who are outstanding in our community. Celta Vigo Dev FC was the first team to come in our minds because of this selfless individuals such as Themba Dhlamini. Without any doubt Mr Dhlamini is a role model of our community because he takes care of our kids, boys and girls. This is the reason as Baithumi Trading we decided to contribute this equipment in the form of playing kit, track-suits, soccer balls, cones and other playing equipment,” said Segalo.

Celta Vigo Development Club, Coach Themba Dhlamini told Sedibeng Ster Sport that he is thankful to Baithumi Trading for this donation to the club.
