Stop dumping next to our soccer ground – Home Defenders FC!

SEBOKENG.- Please stop dumping the next to our soccer ground. This is a message from Home Defender FC pleading with the community of Zone 12 community to stop dumping next to their soccer ground. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport Home Defenders FC Founder/Coach, Fusi Mofokeng said their plea with the community members to stop using their soccer ground as a dumping place has fallen on deaf ears. He told this newspaper that the dumping is now getting out of hand. “I don’t know what to do anymore because this never stops even though we engaged members of the community especially those who stay next to the ground to stop using our ground as a dumping site. I don’t understand because this is where their children play and train but the same parents dump everything here. What kind of society is this that doesn’t respect the wellbeing of their children?” Mofokeng told Sedibeng Ster Sport that they have even engaged the municipality to grade the field on a regular basis to avoid this situation but with no success.  He said football is gradually dying in the community because of things like this. Mofokeng said the only time the township soccer grounds are being grated is when there are tournaments but apart from that nothing has been done with those soccer grounds in the community.
