Football is back!

The venues which will be hosting matches will only be allowed to host 50 percent of their capacity.

SEDIBENG.- It’s confirmed, soccer fans will return to the stadium after PSL Chairman, Irvin Khoza made this announcement at a press conference held in Parktown, Johannesburg on Tuesday.

This was long overdue with some of the political parties joining forces with the soccer fans in demand of the return to the stadium. This was after President Cyril Ramaphosa eased the COVID-19 restrictions recently. Khoza confirmed the return to the stadium with the upcoming Nedbank Cup quarterfinals on 8-9 April.  However, the fans will be required to produce a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 test which is not older than 72 hours.

The fans will also be required to produce identification documents since PSL confirmed that they will follow strict protocols for the return of supporters. The venues which will be hosting matches will only be allowed to host 50 percent of their capacity.
