Calls for entries into Miss Mission SA Pageant

Model Dikeledi Mokwane (25) from Bophelong has recently become part of the Miss Mission South Africa pageant and is calling for entries from young women from in and around the Vaal.

SEDIBENG. –  “I have been in the pageant industry for over 8 years. Over the years I saw a gap where pageants still have a bad stigma. This is why I decided to be part of a platform where we invite young women who want to break boundaries by educating and assisting them to reach their full potential.

“I aspire to be a role model to young girls and boys who come from the streets of Bophelong and I want them to know, they can also create a life they dream of.”

Miss Mission South Africa aims to promote women who truly care about improving the lives of everyone around them. “Our Mission is to provide women of all cultures a platform where their advocacy can impact the lives of other women on a global scale.

The Miss and Teen Mission South Africa title holders will be representing South Africa in The Dominican Republic in September this year. All expenses will be paid by the organisation.”

Mokwane says they are partnering with SMME’s who will be educating finalists about entrepreneurship and how being skilled can assist in creating opportunities for innovation and employment. The competition is targeting women aged 13 – 18 for the Teen Mission South Africa and 19 – 29 Miss Mission South Africa.

Requirements: “We celebrate women who have a mission in life. Our Mission is to provide ladies of all cultures a platform where their advocacy can impact the lives of others on a global scale.”
