Dagga, Dagga, the tree of life!

He alleged that dagga has been legalised and police have no rights to make any arrests.

THE BARRAGE. Since the marijuana was legalised, it seems the wings of the police or law enforcement agencies has been clipped.

A police officer was seeing walking past a plant of dagga during a GBV campaign in the informal settlement of the Vaaloewer recently. Those living in the squatter camp said that they applauded government ‘legalizing of the trees of morality’. Since then we can now smoke openly so said a dreaded Jahman Silas Mofokeng. He alleged that dagga has been legalised and police have no rights to make any arrests.

” As long as they dont catch us smoking ganja, theres no charge. Theres a saying in the Bible that :’You shall reap what you saw’. And this seems to be true to us.”

Police Spokesperson, Sergeant Gertrude Makhale said that people are allowed to plant dagga for consumption but not to sell. “Those selling must be in possession of licence,” she said.
