MIDVAAL. – ER24 reports that two people were seriously injured when a bakkie and light motor vehicle collided on Donald Road in Meyerton recently.
ER24 arrived at to find another service already in attendance.
“A bakkie was parked in the middle of the road while a light motor vehicle was on the side of the road in the bushes.
Paramedics assessed both drivers and found that the man in his 50s and the woman in her 60s had sustained serious injuries.”
The patients were treated and provided with pain-relief medication before they were transported to Sebokeng and Kopanong Hospitals for further care.
“It is believed that two children had been in the bakkie during the collision. Fortunately, both children had escaped injury.”
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
