School search campaigns continue

"The school's visit was a surprise and the problematic classes were identified."

EVATON.- The Evaton SAPS Operational Commander Lieutenant Colonel De Winnaar, Sector Managers, Social Crime prevention, Patrollers and Communication Officer together with MEC Faith Mazibuko visited Qedilizwe Secondary School and Ruta Sechaba Secondary School at Evaton North for a school search project.

Police Spokesperson, Constable Thulisile Msibi said that the school’s visit was a surprise and the problematic classes were identified.

“The search was successful even if nothing was found in possession of the learners the visit was fruitful. The school management was happy about the visit and they hope the visits will done regularly. The school searches will become regular features in the local schools to ensure that learning takes place in peaceful way.”
