SEBOKENG.- The Community of Zone 10 Ext 3 in Sebokeng has for the past three weeks been hard at work reviving the community park in the area. This initiative is meant to create a healthy environment for the community especially young people to play in a safe environment.

Men and woman, young and old came out to help cutting the trees and grass to revive thepark in the area. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, the Project Coordinator, Lucas Motloung said that the Ext 3 community want to see their children playing in the safe environment. Motloung said they  started this project three weeks ago with men and women working together for the betterment of the Zone 10 Ext 3 community.

“We want to revive the community park because as Zone 10 Ext 3 community we want a place where our children will go and play. Again, we want our community to have their own park to go and relax with their families especially during the holidays. I want to thank the men and women in this area for their commitment to clean and revive the park. We are here every day from Monday to Friday cutting the trees and grass and you can see we have done lot of work since we started this project.  We encourage the members of the community to keep this place clean and not use it as dumping place. It is all our responsibilities to make sure this park remains clean for the sake of our children and us,” said Motloung.
