This after the victim’s family suspected something was amiss with their son, and after being questioned, the victim revealed the ordeal Manci had put him through on several occasions.
This was all thanks to the hard efforts and sterling work of a dedicated Detective Sergeant Machabedi Mokabane. Mokabane produced the ultimate goal of conviction.
The court heard that the accused started raping a young boy in and around 2020 in Sebokeng.
The victim cannot be named due to the seriousness of the case and his age. Police said the Child Protection Act indicates that the minor had to be fully protected.
The court found the accused guilty on three counts of sexual assault and two counts of rape and he was rendered unfit to possess a firearm.
