SEDIBENG.- It is Egypt against Senegal in the African Cup Of Nation (AFCON) on Sunday.
Egypt reached AFCON final after they beat the hosting nation Cameroon 3-1 on penalties on Thursday night. No one saw this coming with Egypt having started this continental tournament on a poor note. At one stage they looked like they were not going to reach knockout stages but shocked many until they found themselves in the Semi-finals and now, the finals. 
Senegal is one team that was least were expected to reach this stage of the tournament with the tournament’s favourites such as Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Algeria, Ghana having had to bite the dust at an early stage.
As for Cameroon, everyone expected tham to be in the final taking into consideration they are the hosting nation. They were in control from the beginning of the tournament until they lost to Egypt. It was a big blow for the home supporters who always came in numbers to support their national team.
As the situation stand, Cameroon fans will now rally behind either Egypt or Senegal come Sunday.
