“Yesterday was the start of the petition to get Three Rivers under Midvaal. We got +- 600 signatures from the residents.
This is one of many petitions we will sign inside the next month, our cut off date is the 31 March,” says Cllr Salome Janse Van Rensburg (Ward 2, Risiville).
“We will be having a PUBLIC PARTICIPATION MEETING in FEBRUARY. Details to be announced very soon. We would like to thank residents for coming out and signing the petitions one for the DEMARCATION OF THREE RIVERS TO MIDVAAL and the other one OF NO SERVICE DELIVERY IN THREE RIVERS”.
“The message is clear, change is needed and the DA have heard your grievances and now it’s time to take action. Emfuleni is failing residents and businesses of Three Rivers. Time to draw the line and say enough is enough”.
“Three Rivers are one of the highest paying Wards in ELM. R41 million goes into a bottomless pit. Thank you to Getruida Verster and Mariaan who helped man the tables”.
