Midvaal Local Municipality has once garnered another PMR Africa Award for its continued excellence.
The ceremony was held this morning at Ingwe Lodge in Vanderbijlpark.
This honour is awarded to municipalities that play a role in job creation, social upliftment, combating crime and attracting investment.
Spokesperson Simon Ratlhagane says, “The awards are the culmination of research processes whereby companies and institutions are rated based on respondents perceptions with a strong focus on evaluating and measuring customer service and customer satisfaction”
The ceremony was attended by Mayor’s and Councillor’s from municipalities around the Gauteng Province.
Mayor Peter Teixeira says, ” Thank you to PMR Africa for honouring the Midvaal Local Municipality with a Golden and Diamond Arrow award for excellence in Local Government initiatives.
“To all our hardworking Municipality employees, this one is for you.We are committed to service delivery, that is our mandate to the people of Midvaal.”
MLM says it will continue promote stability in governance and ensure that the interests of the Midvaal community is a priority.
