“Mama we made it”: 2021 Matrics

"Keep on keeping on and do not forget where you come from once you are up there. God bless you always.”

SHARPEVILLE. – The community members of Tshepiso Phase 1, Sharpeville showed that they care for their young when they held a celebratory function for six 2021 matriculants over the weekend.

The community members appreciated the hard work that the six put in their work and having made it through. The six, Katleho Mosia, Rethabile Skosana, Moeketsi Mokeretla, Tshirellotso Majake, Rethabile Thoahlane and Vuyani Duda who were students at Thuto-Lore Comprehensive School and Mohloli Maritime SOS respectively were showered with praises for having been an example to many in their community.

Speaking during the event, one of the community members said: “You are an example to many, you have shown that wherever you come from, you can achieve your dreams, only if you believe. With this little function we are showing our love and appreciation to you. Your dedication, humbleness, and respect has made sure that you reach these heights. Keep on keeping on and do not forget where you come from once you are up there. God bless you always.”

The six have applied with different institutions in and outside the area and amongst the courses that they will be studying for in this new year are, Mechanical Engineering, Education and Electrical Engineering.

To show their apprectiation and happiness, the group said, “ Mama we made it.”
