EIKENHOF.- A 46-year-old man was seriously injured in a shooting incident along the R550 in Eikenhof, south of Johannesburg.
ER24 and other services arrived at 08h20 on Monday morning to find the local authorities already in attendance.
In a statement ER24 said: “A 46-year-old man was found lying amongst the bushes on the side of the road.”
Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained a gunshot wound to his right leg, leaving him in a serious condition.
“The man was treated and provided with pain-relief medications before being transported to a Provincial Hospital for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.”
