Zanele Beshe’s star is on the rise

"I was called to heal people and give strength and hope.”

EVATON.- The self proclaimed ‘second Queen of gospel’, Zanele Beshe is set to release her  prayer song ‘Morena Re Utlwele Bohloko’ very soon.

In an inclusive interview with Sedibeng Ster, Beshe said that this song took her through the COVID-19 season when she was in hospital, heavily pregnant and just been diagonised with Covid. In a heart-to-heart interview with this newspaper, Beshe said a gentleman by the name of MacDonald Zwane, who happened to be his manager, wrote this song titled “Morena Re Utlwele Bohloko’ in a plea to God to heal the people and the victims of  Gender Based Violence (GBV), rape and many other challenges this country experienced.

This song, “Morena Re Utlwele Bohloko” was recorded live last year December 4.

“It is easy to lose hope when one is sick and facing death but thanks to my manager, Mr Zwane, for this song because it gave me strength to be back of my feet again. This is song is a prayer and anthem for healing. Look, singing gospel is a calling for me, not a career, I was called to heal people and give strength and hope,” said Beshe who is a wife and mother of two children.

Beshe started her music career during her days at school and her rise to stardom was when she joined the popular Vaal Sound Choir. She has shared the stage with the likes of the late Israel Mosehle and Neyi Zimu. However, her biggest dreams is to share the stage with Lebo Sekgobela and she believe this would be the highlight of her gospel career.

More details about the song will be shared on Zanele Beshe’s social media pages.
