Bontle urges you to maintain a healthy lifestyle this festive season

A well-known female aerobics instructor Bontle Photsane urges people, especially athletes to maintain a healthy lifestyle during the holidays.

SEBOKENG.- Speaking to Sedibeng Ster , Photsane said going on holiday should not stop one from exercising.

She said if you are away, the easiest way to exercise is by running, walking, and swimming or by touring around using a bicycle.

“Attending festivals and parties is definitely the common spirit of the holidays. However, having heavy food and a lot of alcohol can wreak havoc on bodies. Before you go to any event that encourages the regular consumption of unhealthy food, one must have a light healthy snack to help avoid unhealthy eating habits. ”

Photsane says a small salad, a plate of raw vegetables and a piece of fruit is ideal for anyone whose aim is to stay healthy

“As athletes and none athletes we must always look after our bodies because it is our investment”

Photsane said many athletes have lost their professional contracts because they neglected their bodies.

“It is painful to see athletes losing their career because of their lifestyles during the festive season. As much as athletes must relax for their bodies to recover, they must keep on exercising.

“I’m very concerned about how athletes neglect themselves during the festive holidays and I’m begging them to keep on working on their level of fitness.”
