"These two clubs gave them a life time opportunity to do inservice training with them."

SEDIBENG.- Due to  COVID-19 many companies were unable to take students for internship training.

However, football clubs, RESA and  Nale Academy  came to rescue of some students when these two clubs gave them a life time opportunity to do inservice training with them. Ayanda Matsene and Anele Mthimkulu from VUT completed their one year and three months inservice training with these two local clubs.

This means that these Sports Management students will be able to graduate with the institution after completing their internship training.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, the two students said that working with these professional run clubs was the best experienced especially during the nationwide lockdown. The two were responsible for the these two club’s day-to-day administration including  COVID-19 regulations to ensure everyone adhere to this pandemic regulations. Matsane did her internship with RESA while Mthimkulu was with Nale Academy.

“We want to thank these clubs for this opportunity because if it wasn’t of them we wouldn’t be able to graduate. We learned so much especially about football administration and COVID-19 regulations and health protocols,” they said.
