VEREENIGING. – Soxuza was elected at the first council meeting of the newly constituted council of the Emfuleni Local Municipality, following the local government elections that took place on 1 November.
Soxuza won with 46 votes over the other nominee, Edward von Bodenstein (DA) who received 44 votes.
