ELM hosts first council sitting following local government elections

The Inaugural council sitting of the Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) is currently underway at the Vereeniging City Hall.

Today, new members of the council will be inaugurated and will serve for a period of 5 years, with the term ending in 2026.

About 90 councilors from various wards in ELM have take their oath of service following the recent Local Government Elections (LGE).
