Looking further away the wind turned the mobile toilets upside down.

BOPHELONG.- The residents of Marikana informal settlement were left stranded after a thunderstorm blew away some of their shacks and mobile toilets on Wednesday.

The now homeless residents said they arrived home from work around 16.00 they thought that it was a daydream.

Sophia Sadike 56, said she was devastated, reeling in shock at the time her neighbour pointed out where the wind has blown her three-room shack.

Looking further away the wind turned the mobile toilets upside down. The faeces and urine could be seen from as far as closer in the yard.
