Mohami appointed General Coordinator for CAF Women’s Champions League

BOPHELONG.- Potso Mohami has been appointed as one of the General Coordinators at the CAF Women’s Club Champions League scheduled to take place in Cairo, Egypt from 5-19 November.

There is no doubt that this Bophelong born Administrators is destined for a great future and will follow in the footsteps of former great football Administrators who came from Sedibeng in the past. She is currently the only female football Administrator to serve football at the highest level of football.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Mohami said that she is delighted to be appointed to serve in the CAF Women’s Champions.
“I’m very grateful for this opportunity to serve in the committee as one of General Coordinators at the CAF Women’s Club Champions League. This shows that hard work pays off and I’m looking forward to representing my country, and SAFA with distinction. I want to thank SAFA for their support in developing me to be the person I am today,” she said.
A total of eight teams will compete in the knockout stages to decide the four places in the knockout phase of the 2021 CAF Women’s Champions League.
The countries to participate in this women’s champions league are Egypt, Morocco, Mali, Ghana, Nigeria, Equatorial Guinea, Kenya and South Africa.
South Africa will be represented by Mamelodi Sundowns.
