Three behind bars for kidnapping and rape

EVATON. – Three suspects of an alleged kidnapping and rape case are languishing behind bars after they were arrested recently. Police Spokesperson, Constable Shaan Motsapi said that police responded swiftly to a complaint of an alleged kidnapping of a 15-year-old girl.
“The kidnappers demanded a ransom amount of R50 000 in hard cash. Instead, an intensive and watertight investigation was begun and that resulted with a breakthrough that led the police to the Bedworthpark area. Two suspects between the ages of 28 and 43 were identified and arrested charged for kidnapping.” 
A third suspect, aged 25, was nabbed outside the President Hyper where the girl (victim) was also found. Police further established that the victim was also raped by the suspects.
The suspects are facing charges of kidnapping and rape.
