Local soccer legends aim to make a difference in Sedibeng

The legends are made up of former professional soccer players from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

SEBOKENG.- The Sedibeng Soccer Legends aim to make a difference in the lives of the local community, in particular young people.
The legends held a meeting in Zone 7, Sebokeng over the weekend.

This is where amongst other issues, they discussed how they can make a difference in the lives of the communities that they live within.
The meeting is held every month with the sole aim of coming up with ideas and programmes that can empower both the former members and the community at large.

Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, former Vaal Professionals and Moroka Swallows goalkeeper, Simon ‘White Cat” Mosoue who is also the legends’ Chairperson said that more is yet to come in terms of the programs that they have in mind for ‘our people’. “We are also looking at major partnerships with schools and big companies where we are aiming at developing young people from Sedibeng, and in a long way empowering them.”

Mosoue said that major announcement will soon be made as the program/s take off.
The legends are made up of former professional soccer players from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s, they are currently sponsored by Batho Batsho Bakopane (B3).
